Fuel Prices Rise Again: Diesel and Gas Prices Sharply Increased in Armenia

Liquid hydrocarbons jumped by almost 50% over the year, and diesel fuel alone added almost 13% in just one month

Fuel prices continue to rise in Armenia. According to official statistics, in April 2026, compared to April last year, gasoline prices increased by 0.6%, diesel fuel by 7%, and liquid hydrocarbons, including propane and butane, soared by 48%.

Comparing April to March 2026, the increase was even more noticeable. Gasoline prices rose by 2.1%, diesel fuel by as much as 12.9%, and liquid hydrocarbon prices increased by 4.9%.

The most significant price increase is observed in the diesel fuel and gas mixture segments, which are actively used in both transport and the household sector. The price increase may further affect the cost of transportation, logistics, and a number of goods in the country's domestic market.
