DAN AIR announced the launch of direct flights between Bucharest and Yerevan. Flights will commence on July 1, 2026, and will be part of the carrier's international route network expansion. Simultaneously, the company is opening routes to Amman, Tbilisi, and Aleppo.
The airline explained the launch of new routes by the growing demand for direct air travel between Europe, the Caucasus, and the Middle East. An additional factor was the desire to improve transport accessibility for diasporas who frequently travel between countries in the region and the EU.
DAN AIR was founded in 2017 and previously operated under the name Just Us Air. The carrier is based at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest. In 2025, more than 272,000 passengers used the airline's services. The new route could make travel between Armenia and Romania significantly easier and faster, especially for tourists and members of the Armenian diaspora in Europe.
