The country's government has approved an updated learning model for high school students: 10th-12th graders will be able to choose advanced specialized disciplines, reducing the workload in non-core subjects. The program will include expanded courses in artificial intelligence, digital security, and civil defense fundamentals, forming a more flexible educational path.

Individual elements of AI education have already been implemented in approximately 40 schools with the support of the FAST Foundation. These initiatives have received international recognition and were noted at a specialized educational competition in the USA as one of the promising school practices. As Minister of Education Zhanna Andreasyan noted, the system is gradually transitioning to a more applied learning format.

A new initiative is also being prepared in collaboration with OpenAI and Firebird, aimed at developing research and digital skills in schoolchildren. Additionally, students are planned to be more actively involved in projects and volunteer programs, and for graduates entering universities after winter exams, the second semester will focus on practical research activities.
