The TUMO educational network has opened a new center in Bilbao, Spain – this is the organization's first project in Spain and in the Basque Country region. The venue is designed for approximately 1000 teenagers per week, offering training in programming, animation, game and film creation, as well as music, photography, and robotics.
The center is located in a historic building from 1909, which was originally used as a wine warehouse and later transformed into the Azkuna Zentroa cultural space by architect Philippe Starck. Thus, the educational platform combines a modern digital learning format with architectural heritage.
The organization also announced plans for a major expansion: by its 15th anniversary, the network intends to grow to 25 centers in 15 countries by the end of 2026. This continues TUMO's international development strategy aimed at creating a global network of free technological education for teenagers.
