In Armenia, electricity production increased by 6.6% in January–April 2026 compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the Statistical Committee of the country.
The total generation volume for the four months amounted to 3,337.1 million kWh. In April, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year was noted, but compared to March, a decrease of 20.1% was recorded, which is associated with seasonal fluctuations in consumption and generation.
The dynamics show the continuation of a positive trend in the country's energy sector, despite short-term fluctuations within the month.
