American Infrastructure Giant Connects to TRIPP Project in Armenia

AECOM strengthens involvement in transport initiative that could change the country's role in regional logistics

Global consulting and engineering company AECOM has once again sent a delegation to Armenia to promote the TRIPP project. The US Embassy in Yerevan stated that the cooperation is seen as part of a broader vision to transform the country into an important transit and economic hub in the region.

It is noted that AECOM works with the US Department of State on infrastructure initiatives in various countries and is now involved in the implementation of the TRIPP project in Armenia. This is the second visit by company representatives, who plan to use their experience in railway construction and logistics to support the project.

The next stage of work includes a detailed study of the terrain and clarification of the parameters of the future route. In fact, this involves moving from a conceptual stage to more applied design, which should determine further technical solutions and infrastructure configuration.
