A meeting was held in Yerevan at the State Revenue Committee of Armenia with cryptocurrency market participants, dedicated to tax regulation issues. Taxes for companies working with crypto assets, rules for determining the tax base, specifics of VAT and profit tax were discussed.
Separately, individuals were discussed: traders, declaration of income from conversion, legal payments with cryptocurrency, documentation of transactions, and the use of cash registers for cash and non-cash operations. Measures to identify unlicensed activities and illegal entrepreneurship on crypto platforms were also considered.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation to ensure a transparent and legal crypto asset market. Representatives of the "Union of Crypto-Economic Entities" and relevant committee departments participated in the event, chaired by Deputy Head of the SRC Hamlet Sahakyan.
