Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the "Trump's Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project is capable of providing the country with a multi-billion dollar investment inflow and becoming one of the largest infrastructure projects in recent years.
TRIPP is a large-scale geopolitical and transport project designed to connect the main territory of Azerbaijan with its exclave Nakhchivan through the southern part of Armenia (Syunik Province).
Speaking at a government working meeting, Pashinyan noted that he has no concerns about the state's financial capabilities, as a significant increase in investment activity is expected in the near future. According to him, the implementation of TRIPP will be a catalyst for attracting new large investments into the Armenian economy.
The head of government also called for the fastest possible completion of the ratification process for the agreement between Armenia and the United States, signed within the framework of the TRIPP project. Pashinyan emphasized that not only financial resources but also the content of the project, which should ensure the country's long-term economic development, are of key importance.
Earlier, it was reported that the initiative involves the implementation of large-scale transport, energy, and digital infrastructure projects with the participation of American partners.
