Wildberries marketplace, in cooperation with Unibank, has launched an installment purchase service for users in Armenia. Now, when placing an order, customers can choose the payment option through the bank and apply for financing directly within the purchase process.
After selecting the appropriate payment method, the system redirects the user to the bank's page, where the application is reviewed and a decision is made. Installment plans are available for amounts up to 2.5 million drams for a period of up to 36 months. Specific parameters, including the interest rate and payment schedule, are determined individually for each client and displayed before the completion of the arrangement.
If the buyer subsequently rejects the goods, the funds paid will be returned, and the obligations under the loan agreement will be recalculated or fully closed. Wildberries notes that the introduction of such financial instruments makes purchases more accessible and allows customers to buy the necessary goods immediately, spreading the costs over a long period.
