Armenia and Switzerland unite in "green" energy:

The parties signed a memorandum on the development of energy efficiency and a sustainable economy

The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia (PSRC) and the Swiss organization HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of energy and the "green" economy. The document aims to support inclusive economic development and modernize approaches to industry regulation.

The agreement was signed by the head of the PSRC, Mesrop Mesropyan, and the representative of the Armenian office of HELVETAS, Hovsep Patvakanyan. The partnership covers a wide range of areas: energy efficiency, "green" transition, improvement of the regulatory environment, energy resource management, and increasing industry transparency.

Joint research, exchange of experience, and professional development are also envisaged. The parties expect that cooperation will help introduce modern regulatory standards, attract investments, and increase the sustainability of Armenia's energy sector amidst global changes in the industry.
