French aerospace company Thales and Armenian technology company BooTech have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
This was announced by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, on the sidelines of the Eurosatory 2026 defense technology exhibition in Paris.
According to the minister, interaction with one of the world leaders in the industry is seen as an important signal for the development of Armenia's high-tech and defense sectors. He noted that Armenian companies are gradually building competencies in developing complex systems, integrating technologies, and complying with international standards.
Hayrapetyan also emphasized that the new partnership is a continuation of the previously signed document in Yerevan on cooperation between the relevant departments of Armenia and France in the field of defense industry.
The project is expected to contribute to the creation of highly skilled jobs, strengthen technological exchange, and deepen interaction between the countries.
