Ucom to Distribute Funds to Environmental Startups: New Application Round for Support Program Launched

The best projects will be able to receive funding and access to an international network of entrepreneurs

Ucom, in collaboration with Impact Hub Yerevan, announced the launch of the third phase of the Ucom Fellowship program, aimed at supporting technology startups working to solve environmental problems in Armenia. The program has been running for three years and helps young teams develop ideas in the field of sustainable development.

The launch event took place in Yerevan and brought together entrepreneurs, innovators, and experts from the environmental industry. Participants presented their projects, and representatives of the organizers emphasized the importance of implementing technologies to solve social and environmental problems. Ucom noted that they consider supporting such initiatives as a contribution to the long-term sustainable development of the country.

The 2026 program includes projects related to textile waste recycling, protection of Lake Sevan's ecosystem, environmental activism, and the use of solar energy. Among the participants are Sweet Dreams, Clean Environment, Eco Station, Step2Green, Latte Environmental NGO, Rivers2Sevan, and Trinity ASZ. Over 9 months, teams will undergo training, participate in workshops, and work with experts. Following the program, the most promising startups will receive seed funding of 400,000 drams for the further development of their projects.
