Net non-commercial money transfers to Armenia increased by 16% year-on-year in April 2026. This is stated in the World Bank's review "Armenia Monthly Economic Update – June 2026".

According to the report, the growth was recorded against a low base from last year. The main contribution to the increase was provided by inflows from Russia, where the inflow of funds grew by 31.8%, as well as from other countries, which showed a growth of 46.1%.

At the same time, transfers from the USA decreased by 11.2%, which partially offset the overall growth but did not change the positive trend as a whole.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, the net inflow of non-commercial cross-border transfers in April amounted to $70.9 million, compared to $61.2 million a year earlier. This reflects the continued dependence on external cash flows and their significance for domestic consumption.
