Armenia is negotiating with OpenAI regarding the possible implementation of the ChatGPT Edu educational platform into the national education system. The system is being considered as part of the digital transformation of education.
This involves using AI tools in schools and universities to support the learning process, including assistance in teaching, access to educational materials, and the development of digital skills among students.
According to preliminary discussions, ChatGPT Edu could be integrated as an auxiliary platform for teachers and students, and also used to adapt curricula to modern technological requirements.
Particular attention in the negotiations is paid to data security, access control, and the correct use of AI in the educational environment to minimize the risks of incorrect application of technologies.
If an agreement is reached, Armenia could become one of the countries in the region to implement OpenAI's AI tools at the level of the state education system.
