Armenia has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters for the purchase of six H145 multi-purpose helicopters. This marks the country's first contract with this aircraft manufacturing division, making the deal significant for the development of its aviation infrastructure.

The agreement was finalized during President Emmanuel Macron's official visit to Yerevan and has already come into effect. Airbus notes that the agreement reflects the strengthening cooperation between France and Armenia in high technology and aviation.

The H145 helicopters are planned for use in transport tasks and various state missions. These aircraft belong to the multi-purpose class and are designed for operation in challenging conditions, including mountainous regions and high temperatures.

The model is equipped with modern flight control systems and digital avionics, and is also distinguished by high reliability and relatively low noise levels. Airbus emphasizes that the H145 is already widely used worldwide and is considered one of the most mass-produced models in its segment.
