In 2026, 15 schools in Armenia will begin implementing the educational program "Space 1.0", aimed at developing engineering and space competencies in schoolchildren. The project is being implemented with the support of Ucom company in cooperation with CIPR AeroSpace and will cover both metropolitan and regional educational institutions.
The program is a practical STEM kit that allows students to work with elements of real space technologies. The kit includes a training satellite, a ground station, a parachute system, and methodological materials. Schoolchildren will not only be able to study theory but also perform applied tasks related to data reception and processing.
According to the organizers, the project aims to foster engineering thinking and early involvement of students in high-tech fields. Each school will be provided with teacher support so that the equipment can be used in a long-term educational process as part of STEM programs.
