Construction of Armenia's second COAF SMART Center continues in Armavir Province. The most important stage of work has now begun on the site – pouring the concrete foundation for the future educational complex.

The new center will be the second major project of the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) after the SMART Center in Lori. Here, rural children and teenagers will be able to study technology, art, entrepreneurship, and agriculture programs for free.

At the same time, the installation of a solar power plant has begun on the campus. Solar panels will be placed above the open parking lot: they will generate electricity and simultaneously serve as a canopy for cars.

The complex in Armavir will include not only the SMART Center. In 2024, the COAF Youredjian Child and Family Center already opened here, offering early development programs, as well as social support specialists, speech therapists, and child psychologists. In addition, an agrotechnological school is planned to open on the campus in the future to train farmers in modern work methods.

The construction of the Armavir SMART Center is planned to be completed in 2028. Two more similar COAF centers are under development – in Goris and Kapan of Syunik Province.
