Viva announced the launch of the first and only 5G+ network in Armenia. The new mobile infrastructure is already available throughout Yerevan, as well as in a number of cities in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, and Aragatsotn provinces.
The company plans to expand coverage to all cities in Armenia by the end of 2026, with the next stage being the connection of rural communities.
5G+ technology will provide higher data transfer speeds, minimal signal delays, and will form the basis for the development of new digital solutions. Possible areas of use include artificial intelligence-based services, the Internet of Things, "smart" cities, telemedicine, and other digital economy technologies.
Until August 14, new Viva subscribers in settlements with available 5G+ coverage will receive 50 GB of mobile internet as a gift.
