The Armenian Center for Creative Technologies TUMO, founded 15 years ago in Yerevan, continues its international expansion. By the end of 2026, the network is expected to grow to 25 centers in 15 countries worldwide.
TUMO Director Marie Lou Papazian notes that the main goal of the project is not only to teach programming, design, and animation. The organization places its primary emphasis on developing the ability to learn independently and quickly adapt to changes in the technological world.
In recent years, TUMO has been actively integrating artificial intelligence into educational programs, as well as developing directions for adults — TUMO Labs, TUMO Studios, and the 42 Yerevan programming school.
Expansion also continues within Armenia. New centers are planned to open in Masis, Armavir, and Vanadzor, so that modern educational opportunities are available not only to residents of the capital but also to teenagers from small towns and border regions.
Over the next 15 years, TUMO intends to pay even more attention to artificial intelligence, continuous learning, and the development of digital skills. The organization believes that its goal is not just to create new venues, but to participate in shaping the future education system.
