After fires at Wildberries warehouses, Armenian sellers faced multi-million losses. According to local media, goods from approximately 3,000 companies from Armenia were located at the affected facilities. Although the marketplace has already started transferring compensation, many entrepreneurs consider the amounts insufficient and demand an explanation of the calculation principles.

One of the sellers, David Hakobyan, said that his losses are preliminarily estimated at about 4 million drams, but he received only 100 thousand drams. According to him, businessmen do not understand for which specific goods payments were accrued and how the company determined the amount of compensation. If the compensation is not enough to cover the damage, some entrepreneurs will have to lay off employees or close stores.

Another seller, Hunan Vantsyan, estimated his potential losses at 30 million drams. He stated that the main problem remains the lack of information about the fate of the goods: some might have burned, some might be in transit, and some might be stored in other warehouses. Entrepreneurs urged the Ministry of Economy of Armenia to assist in negotiations with Wildberries.

Wildberries states that more than 88 thousand small entrepreneurs will receive payments, but sellers from Armenia are still doubtful that the compensation corresponds to the actual damage.
