According to the results of the first half of 2026, the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine became the largest taxpayer in Armenia. The company took first place in the list of the country's largest taxpayers, ahead of other large enterprises and organizations.

The combine's leadership is due to its significant contribution to the state budget against the backdrop of the mining industry's high role in Armenia's economy. The enterprise is one of the largest producers of copper and molybdenum in the country and remains one of the key exporters of industrial products.

The ranking of the largest taxpayers traditionally reflects the state of the leading sectors of the economy. In addition to the mining sector, the list includes companies from energy, telecommunications, banking, and trade.
