Citizens of Armenia will be able to apply for a visa to Montenegro through a new visa center in Yerevan. The opening of the center is expected to simplify the travel application process and make the country more accessible for tourists and businesses.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro announced plans to open a visa center for the international operator VFS Global in Armenia. The exact launch dates and address of the future center have not yet been disclosed, but once operational, applicants will be able to apply for a visa directly in Yerevan, without the need to visit diplomatic missions.

The new center will serve not only citizens of Armenia but also foreigners residing in the country. This is due to the expansion of the VFS Global network, which will allow applications to be submitted at the nearest available center, rather than exclusively in the country of citizenship.

Montenegro also plans to open similar visa centers in Pakistan, China, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Gulf countries, and other states. The network expansion is linked to the country's adaptation of its visa policy to European Union requirements. Meanwhile, from November 1, 2026, a visa regime will be introduced for citizens of Russia, Belarus, China, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey for entry into Montenegro.
