Wildberries is finalizing the preparation of a compensation program for Armenian sellers who incurred losses due to recent problems related to the marketplace's logistics infrastructure.

Company representatives announced plans to support entrepreneurs during a meeting with Armenian Deputy Ministers of Economy Narek Hovakimyan and Lilia Sirakanyan. The negotiations took place on July 30 with the participation of representatives from the country's economic department.

Wildberries stated that they have already begun assessing the extent of the damage and are conducting the necessary calculations. Approaches to compensation payments are in the final stages of development, and details on the procedure for receiving reimbursements will be announced later.

In addition to compensation issues, the meeting participants discussed the further development of e-commerce in Armenia, support for local entrepreneurs, simplification of work procedures, and prospects for expanding cooperation.

The company emphasized that it views Armenia as a promising market for the development of online trade in the region. According to Wildberries representatives, improving conditions for sellers and developing digital infrastructure can contribute to the further growth of e-commerce in the country.
