The Armenian educational network TUMO has opened its first center in Georgia. It is located in Kutaisi – in the building of the country's former parliament with its recognizable glass dome, which after reconstruction became part of the local Technopark.

The new center will start operating in September. Every week, up to 1800 schoolchildren and teenagers will be able to receive free education in 11 areas, including programming, robotics, design, animation, game development, and other modern digital disciplines.

The project was implemented in cooperation with the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA). The opening ceremony was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili, and Bank of Georgia CEO Archil Gachechiladze. The opening of the center was TUMO's first step in expanding its educational network in Georgia and promoting its model of free technological education outside Armenia.
