An educational cybersecurity program for schoolchildren, organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center with the support of Ucom, has concluded in Yerevan. The final stage was the Mini CTF competition, which brought together 61 graduates in 19 teams.
The competition was held on a CTF platform in Jeopardy format. Participants were offered tasks of varying difficulty, based on scenarios as close as possible to real-life situations. Schoolchildren had to apply their acquired cybersecurity knowledge, analyze tasks, and interact within their teams.
Teenagers aged 14 to 17 participated in the program. During the training, they studied modern digital threats, the main tools and principles of protection against them, and also learned about career prospects in cybersecurity. Mini CTF allowed them to test this knowledge in practice.
All participants received certificates and incentive prizes. Ucom and the Microsoft Innovation Center believe that such initiatives help improve digital literacy among young people, develop technical and analytical skills, foster interest in technological professions, and build the human resource potential for Armenia's future digital economy.
