The Firebird AI factory, based on NVIDIA DSX AI, has officially launched in Hrazdan, becoming one of the largest technological projects in the region. Ardshinbank played a key role in its financing, acting as the initiator and lead financial institution for the deal.
The total investment for the first phase of the project is $450 million, of which $300 million was provided by a syndicate of six financial organizations. In addition to Ardshinbank, the syndicate includes ACBA Bank, Evocabank, Fast Bank, C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia, and Amundi-ACBA Asset Management Fund.
For the Armenian banking system, this deal marks the first instance of a syndicate formed by six financial organizations to finance a major technological project. Thus, local financial institutions have pooled resources to create a modern artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Ardshinbank emphasized that the launch of Firebird is already demonstrating the practical results of the attracted financing. The project creates new technological infrastructure and additional opportunities for the Armenian economy, and is also capable of expanding international cooperation in the field of technology.
