Direct air service between the capital of Armenia and Iranian Tabriz is resuming after a two-year hiatus. Flights will be operated by Iranian airline Pouya Airlines twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays.
The first flight on the Tabriz – Yerevan route will depart on August 20 at 09:00 from Shahid Madani International Airport. The resumption of regular service is expected to simplify travel between the two cities and expand transport links between Armenia and Iran.
