From January to July 2026, the revenue of Armenia's communication sector reached 104.1 billion drams, an increase of 7.2% compared to the same period last year. The telecommunications sector generated the main part of the revenue — 97.4 billion drams, which is 7.7% more than a year earlier.
Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of television programs amounted to 5.7 billion drams. This segment showed more modest dynamics — a growth of only 0.7%. Thus, television practically maintained last year's revenue level, despite the overall expansion of the communication market.
Radio broadcasting, on the other hand, showed a slight decrease. Revenue from the creation and broadcasting of radio programs amounted to about 1 billion drams, a decrease of 0.7%. As a result, telecommunication services remain the main source of revenue for the entire communication sector in Armenia.
