Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence Davit Tadevosyan discussed key directions for industry development with representatives of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE). The meeting was held in a "Breakfast with the Minister" format, with Deputy Minister Tatev Aslanyan also in attendance.
One of the main topics was increasing the predictability of the investment environment in the high-tech sector. Participants also discussed expanding cooperation with international technology companies, developing human capital, and attracting qualified specialists. Tadevosyan emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue between the state and the private sector and considering expert proposals from the technology community when formulating state policy.
According to the ministry, in 2025, Armenia's IT sector had 12,026 companies employing 41,431 specialists. The industry's turnover exceeded 1 trillion drams, up from 915.8 billion drams the previous year. IT product exports reached 711.5 billion drams, an increase from 702.1 billion drams in 2024.
