The governments of Armenia and China have signed an agreement on international road transport of passengers and goods. The document defines the rules for organizing transportation between the two countries and is designed to make them more reliable and efficient, while creating additional opportunities for the development of foreign trade.
From the Armenian side, the agreement was signed by Kristine Ghalechyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The ministry noted that the agreement will be another step in expanding cooperation between Yerevan and Beijing in the transport sector and strengthening ties between the two countries.
The ministry also emphasized the practical importance of the agreement for the implementation of the strategic partnership between Armenia and China. The new agreements are expected to form the legal basis for international road transport and contribute to the further development of transport cooperation between the countries.
