Armenian Airlines' Boeing 737-800 received Armenian registration EK-AAF and became the first aircraft of the carrier to be entered into Armenia's registry in the last year and a half. According to Hetq, the aircraft has been at Zvartnots Airport since May 22 and is designed to carry 186 passengers.
Previously, the airline operated Airbus A321s, but in spring 2025, it suspended flights for a fleet renewal period. After resuming operations, the carrier decided to switch to Boeing 737-800s.
According to Planespotters data, Armenian Airlines' fleet is expected to be supplemented by two more Boeing 737-800s. These aircraft are currently in Istanbul.
