The Armenian robotics company CyberFusion has completed the main development phase of the Ayg quadruped platform and is preparing to move to its first pilot implementations. The project was created by its own engineering team over 3.5 years, with the company independently developing the robot's key components – mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, control, perception systems, and AI.
Ayg is conceived as a versatile robotic platform that can be adapted for scientific, educational, and specialized tasks. Universities and laboratories will be able to use the ready-made robot for experiments with autonomous control, computer vision, and artificial intelligence, without creating the hardware basis from scratch.
The first pilot projects are scheduled for late 2026. After their completion, CyberFusion expects to move to mass production. The company's long-term goal is to see an Armenian robot in every school in the country, so that students can not only work with the ready-made platform but also program, modify it, and create their own robotic solutions.
