Arutyun Kiviryan has joined the crew of NASA's Crew-14 mission, scheduled for launch in spring 2027. The flight will be carried out by SpaceX under a contract with the American space agency. Kiviryan will represent Roscosmos and will be one of four crew members heading to the International Space Station.

The upcoming expedition will be the cosmonaut's first space flight. In 2015, Kiviryan graduated from the Baltic State Technical University with a degree in rocket engineering, and in 2021 he was enrolled in the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.

Upon arrival at the ISS, Crew-14 participants will join ISS-75 and ISS-76 expeditions. The flight program will include scientific experiments in microgravity, technology testing for future crewed missions, and routine station maintenance.

The Crew-14 mission will be SpaceX's 14th commercial crewed expedition to deliver astronauts to the ISS as part of the NASA program.
