FlyOne Armenia Orders Two Airbus A321neo - First Airbus Aircraft in Airline's History

The new airliners will be equipped with CFM International LEAP engines, a single-class configuration for 239 passengers, and will help the Armenian carrier expand its route network

FlyOne Armenia has finalized its first direct order with Airbus for two new A321neo aircraft. The agreement was initially concluded as a memorandum on May 5 during French President Emmanuel Macron's official visit to Yerevan. The order has now transitioned into a fully formalized contract.

The aircraft will be built specifically for FlyOne Armenia. Each airliner will be equipped with CFM International LEAP engines and a single-class cabin configuration for 239 passengers. The airline intends to use the new A321neo aircraft to update its fleet and further expand its route network.

Currently, FlyOne Armenia's fleet consists of 11 Airbus A320 family aircraft. According to Airbus, the A321neo consumes at least 20% less fuel and provides a corresponding reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to previous-generation narrow-body aircraft. The estimated market value of the two ordered airliners is between $110–130 million.
