In Armenia, citizens have started to automatically receive decisions on the appointment of old-age pensions via SMS messages. This was reported by the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the country. The corresponding notification is sent to the phone number that the applicant provided when submitting documents.
To view the decision, the recipient needs to follow the link from the SMS and open the electronic notification. Thus, citizens no longer need to separately contact the social service to obtain information about the decision made on their application.
The notification indicates the term of appointment and the amount of the pension, as well as the calculated work experience. If the payment is refused, the system reports the corresponding reason.
