6G already discussed in Armenia: PSRC met with Huawei

The regulator and the Chinese company discussed 5G development, preparation for the introduction of new generation networks, and technological modernization of the telecommunications industry

The prospects for 5G development and future 6G implementation in Armenia were discussed by Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, and a Huawei delegation led by Zhao Hongbo, head of the Armenian office.

Huawei representatives spoke about global trends in the development of fifth and sixth generation networks, as well as the features and application possibilities of relevant technologies in international telecommunications markets. The meeting participants separately considered issues of technological industry renewal and the introduction of new solutions.

PSRC representatives presented Armenia's current programs and steps in the field of 5G and 6G. Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue professional dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
