Armenia – Engineering Week 2026 took place in Yerevan and Vanadzor on October 2–4, bringing together representatives of the engineering and technology industries, government, science, education, and international expert organizations. The main theme of the event was “Physical AI: Engineering Intelligence in the Real World” — the transition of artificial intelligence technologies from the digital environment to physical systems and the creation of corresponding solutions.
David Tadevosyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of Armenia, noted that the further development of the country's technological potential requires more active inclusion of Armenian engineering competencies in global technological chains. The week included panel discussions and expert presentations on the interaction of science, engineering, and AI.
The exhibition showcased developments by Armenian technology companies, including solutions for intelligent physical systems. Gurgen Mardoyan, Director of the PMI Science research center in Armenia, emphasized the need for a measurable effect from the implementation of AI in production and business. Engineering Week concluded at the Vanadzor Technology Center, where special attention was paid to youth and the development of engineering thinking, creative approach, and practical application of innovations.
