On October 10, a ceremony dedicated to the start of operations at the Amulsar mine took place in Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called the project's launch a success story and emphasized the need to analyze the entire process of its implementation, including the public disagreements that arose earlier.

According to the head of government, an important part of the preparation was explaining the project's benefits to the public and answering questions related to its implementation. Pashinyan noted that the mine's development involves cooperation between investors, local companies, the state, and society. He also stressed that the country's natural resources should contribute to Armenia's economic development and the well-being of its citizens.

The Prime Minister stated that the fate of the Amulsar project could significantly influence the attraction of new investments in similar initiatives. Modern high-quality equipment has been delivered to the country for work at the mine, the maintenance of which will require qualified specialists. Pashinyan also assured that environmental risks are excluded and expressed hope that the project will stimulate the development of the mining industry.
