On October 22, an ArMath engineering laboratory opened in the city of Ranya, Iraqi Kurdistan. It became the 18th foreign educational center of the program developed in Armenia. The project was implemented jointly with the Raparin Regional Development Agency (RRDA) with the support of the Consulate General of Armenia in Erbil.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Armenia to Iraq Ruben Soghoyan, Acting Consul General in Erbil Rafael Movsesyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani, and representatives of the ArMath program. Prior to the laboratory's launch, local teachers completed a week-long theoretical and practical course in programming and robotics led by instructor Armen Mkhoyan.

The ArMath program was developed in Armenia to advance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. Its international expansion is aimed at spreading the Armenian model of engineering education and training specialists capable not only of applying modern technologies, but also of creating their own solutions.
