Armenia and Spain are strengthening cooperation in the energy sector

Pashinyan and Sanchez discussed joint projects and expanding ties with the EU

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held talks with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, during which the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to energy cooperation.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit, where the leaders considered the prospects for joint projects and strengthening cooperation in energy. This includes both traditional sources and opportunities for developing new directions.

In addition, the parties touched upon issues of expanding partnership with the European Union. Yerevan expects that the intensification of dialogue with European countries will help accelerate the modernization of the energy sector and strengthen integration into regional projects.
