Armenia and the USA are moving to a new level: a large-scale charter on strategic partnership with a focus on technology has been signed

The agreement covers military cooperation, AI, energy and space programs, forming the basis for a long-term alliance

Armenia and the USA have signed a comprehensive Charter of Strategic Partnership, which significantly expands the format of bilateral cooperation.

The document provides for deepening military-technical cooperation, joint defense consultations, strengthening cybersecurity and supporting the development of the Armenian defense industry, including the supply of American weapons and strengthening border infrastructure.

A separate block of the agreement is dedicated to technologies and industries of the future. The parties agreed to develop joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence, semiconductors and the digital economy, including the formation of sustainable supply chains for microchips and the training of specialized specialists.

Access to American nuclear technologies and the possibility of introducing small modular reactors for Armenia's energy sector are also being discussed.

The document enshrines the development of infrastructure initiatives, including the TRIPP project, which is considered as the basis for turning Armenia into a regional transit hub.

Additionally, cooperation in the space sector with the participation of NASA is envisaged, as well as joint work on the extraction and processing of rare earth metals and other strategic resources critical for high-tech industries.
