Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Firebird AI factory under construction in the country is of strategic importance for the technological development of the state. This is a large-scale artificial intelligence data center, which is being created near the city of Hrazdan and should become one of the key infrastructure platforms for the development of high technologies in the region.
During the working meeting, the current status of the project, the stages of equipment installation and the formation of the necessary engineering infrastructure were discussed. Issues of interaction between government agencies and private investors, as well as the schedule for commissioning the facility, were also considered.
According to the Prime Minister, the implementation of the Firebird project will accelerate the development of artificial intelligence, expand research and educational opportunities, and increase Armenia's competitiveness in the international technological arena. The construction of the first stage of the AI factory has already reached the final stage, including the installation of key equipment and preparation for launch.
