In Armenia, admission to 10th grades is digitized: a single online system is launched

Admission to high school will for the first time take place through a state platform with multi-stage registration

In Armenia, the procedure for admission to 10th grades is changing – for the first time, the process is fully digitized. This was announced by Artak Poghosyan, Director of the National Center for Educational Technologies of the Ministry of Education.

Registration will take place through the my.emis.am platform. Parents need to create an account and go through a strict identification procedure, after which the system will automatically link the child to the profile if the data is correct.

In their personal account, users will be able to not only submit an application, but also track the electronic journal, view the certificate, and receive notifications from the school and administration.

Admission is divided into stages. From July 20 to August 2, registration will be open on priority grounds – for families with disabilities, school employees, or if a child's brother or sister is already studying at the institution. Then, from August 4, general admission to Armenian-language classes will begin, and from August 11, registration for Russian-language streams.

Previously, enrollment was processed directly through the school and required paper applications and a package of documents, including the original education certificate.
