Iran's Vice President, Head of the Planning and Budget Organization Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi discussed with Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khoudatyan the further development of bilateral projects. Following the meeting, the parties stated the need to combine previously reached agreements into a single coordinated plan.
One of the main directions will be the expansion of trade relations between the countries. The parties also paid attention to the development of the Norduz border crossing, which is an important transport hub between Iran and Armenia, as well as the construction of a second bridge across the border zone to increase capacity.
In addition, Armenia and Iran discussed resolving the issue of road tolls and completing the construction of the third power transmission line between the two countries. The implementation of these projects should strengthen energy cooperation and improve transport links between neighboring states.
