Armenia's IT sector has significantly accelerated its growth: in January–June 2026, its turnover reached 341.1 billion drams, or approximately $911 million. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 14.3%.
The main part of the revenue was traditionally formed by software development – it accounted for about 319 billion drams, which is more than 90% of the total turnover of the industry. Other areas of the IT industry provided a significantly smaller share.
The dynamics show that IT remains one of the fastest growing segments of Armenia's economy. If the current pace is maintained, the annual turnover of the industry may significantly exceed the figures of the previous year.
