Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri discussed new directions of economic cooperation in Dubai. The parties considered opportunities for launching joint projects in manufacturing, logistics, and energy, as well as further expanding investment cooperation.
One of the directions could be the creation of manufacturing and regional distribution centers in Armenia. Joint logistics hubs, processing of Armenian agricultural products, and production of goods under private labels for companies from the UAE were also discussed. Such projects can strengthen Armenia's role in regional supply chains.
The ministers paid special attention to the production of "green" hydrogen and renewable energy. In addition, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in tourism and hospitality.
