In Armenia, the results of January–October 2025 showed a noticeable failure in the production of copper and molybdenum concentrates.
According to the statistical committee, the production of copper concentrate decreased by 9.1%, falling to 235,036.6 tons, while the production of molybdenum fell even more - minus 14.1%, to 12,541.7 tons.
Against this background, the industry unexpectedly showed growth in zinc. The volume of zinc concentrate increased by 9.3% and reached 9,445 tons. The contrast in dynamics for key metals became the main intrigue of the reporting period.
The production of ferromolybdenum fell the most: only 2,522.2 tons in ten months, which is 29.8% less than last year's result.
