Armenia Increases Electricity Production

But November Brought a Surprise

In January–November 2025, Armenia recorded an increase in electricity production. According to operational data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic, the total output increased by 2.8% compared to the same period in 2024, which indicates a stable dynamic in the country's energy sector.

In total, Armenian power plants produced 8,225.3 million kWh of electricity in eleven months. This result reflects a moderate but steady growth against the backdrop of demand fluctuations and seasonal factors that traditionally affect the industry's performance.

At the same time, November statistics were mixed. In annual terms, electricity production decreased by 8.9%, but compared to October of this year, the figure, on the contrary, increased by 7.9%, which indicates a partial recovery of volumes in late autumn.
