At the end of 2025, the index of economic activity in Armenia rose by 9.1%. A particularly strong jump came in December, when the indicator increased by as much as 14%. The main contribution to this result came from industry, where an abnormally high growth rate of 38.6% was recorded, the reasons for which still remain not entirely clear.
The key source of sustained growth throughout the year was domestic demand. Construction and the services sector developed most actively. The construction sector showed double-digit growth rates amid mortgage incentives, active pre-sales of housing, as well as the concentration of capital in development projects. This provided the economy with stable support even amid external fluctuations.

Foreign economic dynamics, by contrast, were marked by high volatility. A sharp reduction in the re-export of Russian precious metals and stones put significant pressure on the indicators, which led to a noticeable decline in foreign trade. As a result, domestic factors became the main anchor of Armenia's economic growth in 2025.
