Citizens of Armenia will receive an electronic cash register receipt when paying for any medical services, Tsovinar Vardanyan, a deputy from the ruling Civil Contract faction, said.
The parliamentary committee on economic issues approved, in the first reading, a draft law on amendments and additions to the Tax Code that formalizes this mechanism. Previously, electronic receipts were generated only when paying through POS terminals, but now information about all payments will be automatically recorded in the Armed system.
According to the deputy, this will make it possible to create a unified information database for analyzing the services provided and identifying problems with medical insurance. At present, all payments for medical services are made in cashless format through POS terminals and terminals in medical centers.
